Being a Union Leader is a sacrifice, not a reward.
It is a VOLUNTARY duty to represent and while you should not have to lose money doing this job, I always remember that it is your dues that keep this union running.
A great portion of my life has been dedicated to the APWU, starting on the date I was hired, 10/25/86.
On day one I became a member of the APWU
U-N-I make up this great Union, ON ward we will continue to keep it that way.

MY PROMISE TO YOU
I have left every position I was elected to in the APWU better than I found it and I promise to do the same as your Southern Regional Coordinator. You will see me in person while I campaign and when I hold office. Calls and emails to me will be answered or returned expeditiously. I work for you, the member, and am beholden to no one.

LEADERSHIP
As Southern Regional Coordinator, I will work with every NBA to help them reduce arbitration backlog and resolve grievances prior to arbitration. Advocates that have graduated from the APWU Arbitration Class will be given opportunities to do cases and assist in the arbitration process.

LEGACY
As I have spoken in every class I taught, I oversaw that my number one job is to train someone to take my place. As a parent, you want your children to be better than you and as a Union Official, I want the person taking my place to have learned from me and to go further.
